Welcome to Melville Church
We warmly welcome everyone to join us for worship each Sunday.
Whether you have attended church for many years, are exploring the Christian faith, or are simply curious to learn more, we would love to meet you.
Our services are centred on the good news of Jesus Christ. Together, we worship God through prayer, singing, Bible reading, and preaching, as we gather to hear His Word and encourage one another in faith.

We understand that visiting a church for the first time can feel a little daunting. When you arrive, you will be greeted at the door, and our ushers will be happy to assist you with seating or answer any questions you may have. Bibles and psalm books are available for use during the service.
If you would like to speak with someone before visiting, or have any questions about our church or what to expect, please feel free to contact our pastor.
O LORD, you are my God; I will exalt you; I will praise your name, for you have done wonderful things, plans formed of old, faithful and sure
- Isaiah 25:1
Children are welcome.
Children are a vital part of our church community and are warmly welcomed in our worship services. Families are encouraged to worship together, and a creche is available for young children and their parents.
Stay and connect.
Following the morning service, we enjoy fellowship together over morning tea. You are very welcome to stay for a coffee and cake, meet some of our members, and get to know us.

Anything that makes you feel comfortable! Our members wear anything from casual clothing to business and formal attire. It is a personal preference how best to dress respectfully and show honour to God.
Nothing! We will provide you with everything you need, including a Bible and Psalm book. You may, of course, bring your own Bible, if you prefer.
We recommend arriving at least 10 minutes before the service. For service times and location, see our contact page.
Before the service, an elder welcomes the congregation and shares any announcements. The minister then leads us in worship through Scripture reading, prayer, preaching, and singing Psalms and hymns. At the centre of our worship is the preaching of God’s Word, pointing us to Jesus Christ and encouraging us in our faith.
Our services usually last just over an hour.
After the service we endeavour to make you feel welcome by introducing ourselves to all visitors. Our members will happily answer any questions you may have.
We do provide crèche facilities for young children, if you require.
Yes. there are also disability parking bays directly outside the front entry of the building and the centre has an accessible bathroom.
